What Can You Expect

Healing is individual.
While ideally it would be great to say “we can get you out of here in 6 to 8 sessions,
realistically and transparently, we can not say that.
We understand healing is a process.

“Anxiety and fear are cousins but not twins. Fear sees a threat. Anxiety imagines one.”
- Max Lucado

When you start to dig up a tree, you do not know what the roots may look like. The roots may be very deep, they may be entwined and very complex. There may be very old roots and new roots that were recently produced. It is necessary to delve into the “roots” of the symptoms you may be experiencing. At The Couch Counseling, we are devoted to help support you as you get to know and uncover your “roots,” but providing the necessary support for growth and resilience.

“Healing is weird. Some days are okay and seem to be doing just fine Other days it still hurts like it is fresh. It’s a process with no time frame. Keep going and know when all is said and one, you are going to be okay.”
